2010 Playaz Basketball Event Calendar   8th ANNUAL FUTURE PLAYAZ CLINIC Starts Saturday January 9, 2010 for City of Paterson youngsters 5-7 yrs old. Clinic is from 9am - 11am and goes through Saturday February 28th. Clinic is free of charge and a basketball jersey and trophy is given to each participant in our closing ceremony. 2010 "Eight Is Enough"- League  -All games are at Paterson's John F. Kennedy HS located at 61-127 Preakness Avenue. League play begins Saturday January 9, 2010. -The league is composed of  7th and/or 8th grade teams.  - Games are either 4:00PM or 5:00PM for eight consecutive Saturdays. -Each team plays eachother once for a total of seven regular season games and then all 8 teams make the play-offs. -Individual awards are given to the league champs as well as ALL-LEAGUE awards after the season. _____________________________________________________________________________ "The New Year's Jump-Off" High School Basketball event @ Teaneck High School - 100 Elizabeth Avenue - Teaneck, NJ Sunday January 3, 2010 12Noon  Hackensack HS vs Lakewood HS 1:30pm Seton Hall Prep vs High Tech HS 3:00pm Englewood vs Hudson Catholic 4:30pm Don Bosco Prep vs Plainfield HS 6:00pm Teaneck HS vs St. Anthony 7:30pm Paterson Catholic vs St. Peter's Prep     "Freedom Fighters Hoop Challenge"  High School Basketball Charity event which celebrates MLK national holiday @ Paterson Eastside HS - 150 Park Ave in Paterson, NJ. All door proceeds from this year's event goes to Paterson Haitian Relief Outreach. All games are at Paterson JFK High, MLK middle school and Roberto Clemente school.   "FALL BALL"   -  League 8 Boy's High school teams playing on Wednesday's @ Paterson's John F. Kennedy HS. Play will begin the week of September 8, 2010. All teams make the Play-offs. ____________________________________________________________ "WE GOT NEXT" Two seperate 8 team divisions (14u & 15u). Each division has two 4 team pools. Teams will all play their 3 pool games on Saturday 10/9 and the top 2 teams from each pool will advance to the playoffs on Sunday 10/10.
