PHILLY vs JERSEY CHALLENGE V The 5th annual Philly vs Jersey Challenge sponsored by the late Eddie Griffin will be on Saturday October 27, 2007. It’s Philly's turn to host the event and this year's location is Episcopal Academy ,376 North Latches Lane in Merion Station, Pa. The 3 game event invites the best players from the greater Philadelphia area to take on their New Jersey counterparts in their 3 respective classes. The sophomore game will be at 4 PM , the Junior contest will be at 5:45 PM and the senior game will cap off the evening at 7:30 PM. National scouting services such as All Star Sports, The HOOP SCOOP, Scout.com, Rivals.com, The National Recruiting Report and H.S.B.I. have already confirmed their credentials. Individual awards, as well as MVP awards for each team will be given out at each game's conclusion. Also, the MVP from each team will win a free S.A.T. prep course in their home areas. Invitations for the event were mailed out on Friday September 28th, 2007 to the High school of each invitee.
